William, I think I understand you have troubles only with .nib files,  
not .strings. Please take a look at
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=382151
and see if the strings contained in the mentioned files are ok in  
your localized version.

As for the troubles with, .nib files, your symptoms remind me of an  
occasion where I accidentally corrupt the translated .nib files.  
Don't ask me how I messed things up, but I did anyway. The only  
solution I found was to get rid of the corrupted .nib files and start  
over with the translation directly in the .nib (not in AppleGlot)  
with a fresh copy of the English version.
