Regardless of what you do in Camino translations, MDC needs to fix
its links, which is why I moved Marcello's bug to the MDC component
:-)

The old MediaWiki-based MDC did content-negotiation for languages if
you gave it a URL without an embedded language code, but the new
DekiWiki-based one does not appear to do so (it gives a 404-type
page instead.)

I checked a couple of translations of the Firefox version of that
file, and of those I checked, only Polish used the localized MDC URL
instead of the English URL. (I'm not even sure if these strings are
used or visible in Camino; that was the next file for me to test on
my list at
http://wiki.caminobrowser.org/User:Sardisson/Localizing_Gecko_Strings
)

If your language has a localized version of those documents on MDC,
feel free to use the current, correct URL for those strings. If not,
feel free to use the correct English URL instead of the current
broken one.

Also, I'm not sure if I've said this before or not, but for the vast
majority of these Gecko strings files, you can borrow the existing
translation from Firefox 3.0.x (from the various .jar files in the
application, or directly from the l10n repository itself -- see
http://mxr.mozilla.org/l10n/ ) and transform the text into the
appropriate format if you like the Firefox translation. I've marked
on the Localizing_Gecko_Strings page the files I know right now
*cannot* be created based on the copies in Firefox, but I can't say
for certain that list is complete right now.

As always, let me know if you have any questions, and thanks for your work!
