It seems my explanation was badly enough to let more than one try to
clarify things. Anyway, it seems also that you understood what I'm
missing: *real* tabbed browsing, i.e. multiple buffers organized as
tabs *with* the visual decoration.

Quite a lot, I usually have (or try to have) no more than 20
buffers...

This is another thing I'd miss from conkeror and which is very nice to
have in emacs-w3m (upstream w3m-session or the one at [1]). Could you
post you hack on the mailing list, please? I cannot find it in the
archive and I'd really like to see it included upstream.

Since I try to use the web the least I can, I prefer to have only one
browser frame.
I'm aware of the keybindings, but even on emacs-w3m it's nice to have
a visual "reminder" about the number of browsing buffers opened ;-)
