[Conkeror] Conkeror in Offline mode after installation

Surely not. It appears in Conkeror whenever I try to connect to an url.

I set this value in about:config, and I additionally inserted the
above line in my .conkerorrc after I read your message. Still the
same problem!
My about:config of Conkeror is, as far as the proxy is concerned,
identical to the settings in iceweasel. All other settings are
standard. It should work. But it doesn't. Is there any way to debug or
to get a log that could help to solve the problem?
I installed Conkeror on my notebook in the meantime. It's working
well, so I exclude the possibility that I just made a silly mistake
when I installed the programme on the problematic machine. Anyway, the
only difference between my computers is that the not working one is
behind a proxy.
Any other ideas?
