[Conkeror] can Conkeror work with a French keyboard?

Hello,

Conkeror works poorly with a French (FR_Fr) keyboard.

For example, following links by numbers doesn't work on my French
(Windows Vista) keyboard.

Here's what happens:

If I type 'f', then Shift-1 (which is how to type '1' on a French
keyboard), I just have
  Follow (select-link): 1
in my command line, and nothing happens (instead of Follow
(select-link): #1, I guess, which is what happens on the English
keyboard.

If I type 'f', then 1 (which types '&' on a French keyboard), I have
  Follow (select-link): #&
in my command line.

Things work fine if I switch the keyboard to EN.

Is this a known problem?
