[Conkeror] [QUERY] What does cyclic__proto__value mean?

I use Conkeror (the old one, parasitic on Firefox) under Windows XP
with Firefox as the default browser.

Sporadically, on following a link, I get a popup that says "Error:
cyclic__proto__value".  It does not actually interfere with reaching
the desired page, but it takes the trackball to get rid of it.  What
does it mean?
