[Conkeror] the git is extremely slow

Hm, I've just timed this command, and here (in Germany) to takes about
10 seconds, so your hour is far too much.  Git says it downloads about 2
MiB of data.  If that really takes one hour, your connection seems to be 
at 3.3 KiB/second.

Anyway, each "git pull" after the first clone should be much faster.
