Is GnuPG installed? This problem is also known if TB and Enigmail are built with
different compiler versions.

Have not had any problems with latest TB or Seamonkey and current Enigmail code
on my *nix systems (Slackware and Solaris).

The times I have seen this problem myself, it is usually corrected by
reinstalling Enigmail.
