[Discuss] transferring mozilla info to new computer

Folks

just got a new laptop and would like to transfer my mozilla info, 
including passwords, from my existing desktop - using mozilla for about 
three years - a lot of data. This seems to be impossible without a huge 
amount of physical transcription. Can I network the two via ethernet and 
transfer? ('Im no programmer)

Any help here would be appreciated.
