[Discuss] X.400 support for Thunderbird

Hello,

another question...
Is it possible, via the extension mechanism, to implement a X.400 
support for Thunderbird ?

I know that it is possible to add protocols to Mozilla (the Finger 
protocol for instance).
But, would it be possible to have "POP3 / IMAP / X.400" when creating an 
account ?
I mean, under the form of an extension, and not by modifying TB itself !
