[Discuss] Firefox Extensios+Themes?

Hi,
 I cannot change any themes  or install any extensins/plug.ins.....Why?
I have tried unninstalling-reinstalling various versions of
Firefox,including the newest(1.506)
I have also run Window search program and Google desktop search,and erased
anything
to do with Fiefox or Mozilla.
 Every time I reinstall it,it is stuck on the default theme ,although other
themes are listed I
cannot use them..,the same with extensions.where of them none work at all.
