[Discuss] Create a xpcom components

This is my 1st time to use XPCOM :)
  I want to get the oputput of the command "dir" using XPCOM....!!!
  Can anybody let me know how to do it?
Do I need to create a new component? If so how?
   
  may I ask for a sample code?
