[Discuss] Questions Concerning Thunderbird

I have 3 questions concerning Thunderbird . 

1) The quick reply extension is not compatible with the updated version 
of Thunderbird (1.5.0.2).  Will this extension be updated soon or is 
there another extension similar to the quick reply that I can use.

2)  Is there an extension or setting in Thunderbird that does not 
include embedded images when I reply.  I receive many emails during the 
day that have jpegs attached to it, and if I reply to that email,the 
jpegs are automatically embedded into the email.

3) Is there an extension or setting in Thunderbird that always opens a 
new window in IE (yes I know Firefox is better, but I use IE for work 
purposes).  Currently anytime I click a link in an email it takes over 
the last open IE window.  I would like the link to open a new window all 
the time.
