[Enigmail] The message you composed...character encoding

Thanks Patrick for responding to my previous message.

Since I installed Enigmail a few days ago, everything seems to be
working fine, but now at some point during the composition of pretty
much every message, I get the warning "The message you composed contains
characters not found in the selected character enoding so your message
may become unreadable after you send or save it"

Most of the email I write is in Spanish (with the corresponding accented
characters); I guess that has something to do with it. I had never had
to change the character encoding settings for Thunderbird before- do I now?
