Hi Becca,

> Menu View > Message Body As > Original HTML
Displaying Messages as "Original HTML" is a potential security risk. At least,
displaying it as "Plain Text" is considered safer. And you will forget to switch
back to Plain text apart from that switching on and off is too much effort.
If you only want to view *some* messages as rich text, the "Allow HTML temp"
AddOn is for you: see https://addons.mozilla.org/de/thunderbird/addon/1556
Per default it shows all messages as plain text. It installs a click button
that you must customize the button bar and drag it on the bar IIRC. Then, one
click displays only the current message temporarity as rich text. If you also
want remote images to be displayed, you need to drop down the "button" and
select "Show HTML and remote images" from the menu.
