[Enigmail] Current version: Incompatibility with Firefox? - and TB?Workround requested

Of courcse not. You have to right-click the extension in firefox and
choose "save-as..." Then from Thunderbird, open the saved file via the
addons-menu.
Firefox and Thunderbird extensions shere the same suffix, therefor
Firefox tries to install Enigmail unto itself.
