[Enigmail] Can enigmail work with HTML messages in Thunderbird?

This advice is almost right.  :)

Set Thunderbird up to only _generate_ plain text emails.

As far as _displaying_ mail, Enigmail doesn't care.

PGP/MIME should allow you to send HTML mail.
