Your signature is fine here. There are several possible reasons. If you
use in-line signing and your correspondents are using Thunderbird, but
not Enigmail (PGP perhaps), they will have problems as Thunderbird
mangles incoming messages when it displays them - the answer to that is
for them to hit CTRL-U to display the original message and then to check
that signature - that usually works. If you "reply" to a message and
quote the original message, Thunderbird mangles the outbound messages by
inserting spaces into it - there is no way round that one, regardless of
which . The developers have stated that they won't/can't be bothered to
fix either. The answer to both is for your correspondents to use
GnuPG/Enigmail with Thunderbird just as you do - that works flawlessly
(here, anyway). As Olav said, there are other clients that do similar
things. If they are using PGP 9.x and use the "invisible proxy" method
that should work OK - if they can a) afford to pay for it and b) get the
rest of it to work.

Another possibility is that their clients cannot handle SHA256. If you
use PGP/MIME that may cause problems too - most e-mail clients can't
cope with it, including Outlook Express and Outlook.

Are any of those likely?

Bob
