At present, this is not the Enigmail Project's problem. The code we
release works well with the official Thunderbird releases. If
third-party vendors release their own customized versions which break
functionality, that needs to be raised with the vendors.
However, that said, I'm affected by this one, too. The Enigmail package
in Gutsy Gibbon is definitely broken and should never have passed QA
testing. I'm trying to find workarounds, but for right now if you want
Enigmail your best bet is to download the original Thunderbird and the
original Enigmail from http://getthunderbird.com and
http://enigmail.mozdev.org.
