Or, if you choose to have Enigmail remember your password, keep the
period short and be conscientious about using "Clear Saved Passphrase"

There are various software solutions for encrypted filesystems or disks
on Windows. Beware; not all are created equal. Some have been recently
shown to be disturbingly easy to break into. (I'd be more specific if I
remembered the details and the specific tools involved. Google should
enlighten.)
