Yes, this is possible.

The mechanism behind is called "PGP/MIME". You can enable this for a
single message with OpenPGP->"Use PGP/Mime for This Message".
You can also enable this on an automated way and selectively for each
recipient by specifying this option in the Per Recipient Rules.
