[Enigmail] Trying to avoid broken signatures

If I select to send a message both as plain text and html, would that
cause any problem? I tested it a few minutes ago, and when I open the
message, for an instant I see the "failed" message, and then it turns to
verified... so I think the html fails, and then it reads the plain text
version... or I am wrong about that?
