[Enigmail] Current thunderbird and enigmail nightlies

I try to install the current enigmail nightly for tb trunk (build date: 
2008-10-24, version: 0.96a.0+) on Thunderbid 3.0b1pre from 2008-11-10. 
It complains that enigmail 0.96a is not compatible with thunderbird 
3.0b1pre. Am I missing something?
