That's right (but of course not correct). The problem lies deep inside
Thunderbird, and I could not yet find a way to fix it. Therefore
currently any RFC 3156 messages following section 6.1 (i.e. sign and
encrypt in 2 steps) are decrypted any only for valid signatures if the
message size is very small.
