John, you freaking rock.  I've been trying to get this installed for weeks, and I can hardly live without my Mozilla Googlebar. (I've been reduced to using IE under some circumstances!!!!)  I uninstalled, reinstalled, used the -P option, created a new profile, *then* installed 0.9.0.28, and voilá!  I'm back in Google.
