Whenever you upgrade firefox and experience any problems due to version changes, you should back up your bookmarks and then delete the following folder:
C:\Documents and Settings\yourcomputername\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox
Then start with a fresh install.
Everything at firefoxie.net will
work flawlessly.
Also, please note that there is a bug
in Firefox that prevents you from
installing multiple extensions.
You have to install one extension,
close Firefox, then reopen Firefox.
Because the problem is not universal
it can seem like a "mysterious" problem.
There are also "buggy" extensions.
I have tried to only use the proven
extensions at firefoxie.net
However, for experimental installation
of estensions, I've also provided a
link to an excellent extension
uninstaller that you can add to Firefox.
Even when the extension uninstaller
in Firefox will not work, this one will
work.
Your extension data is located in the following folder:
C:\Documents and Settings\yourcomputername\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\default.z5t\extensions
You can view/delete them individually.
