Adam Donaghey,
The way it is also allows you to use ctrl-left mouselick... to open a blog tab with the default keystroke/mouseclick modifiers. Then one can also assign some other special combination as well, for example, ctrl-shift blogger button for new window and ctrl blogger for a new tab.
But you really want a new blogger window just like ie right?
You can set this using about:config in the urlbox. Once that opens... create a new string preference...
googlebar.gbloggerStandardWinPref
then set it to "true"
googlebar.gbloggerStandardWinPref=true
On a brand new installation it is the default for 0.9.0.28. "Brand new" being an installation where there are no settings from any previous installation.
Uninstalling Googlebar does not remove your settings by design. These are stored in the file prefs.js in your mozilla user profile, and all Googlebar settings begin with googlebar.
Now what of that comment up on update.mozilla.org? :)
