Is it me, or a bug?  Any changes mage made in Googlebar options only 'stick' whilst Firefox is open.  Close the program and re-open and the changes have been lost.  eg change the Int'l version of Google search to google.co.uk and it's lost after closing.  Ditto with Keyboard shortcuts.
