Get the XPI-firefox.xpi version from here. It should say it is version 0.9.0.25. If that has any of those annoyances let us know. BUT, if you have not upgraded your version of Firefox to the bugfixed edition... 0.9.1, you should uninstall the googlebar before doing anything like upgrading it. You will lose your profile if you do not. This is a bug in Firefox, not the Googlebar.
