Suggestions
-------------

1) A keyboard shortcut for focusing the search box that is easier to grab from a normal keyboard position than Ctrl+F12, maybe Alt+S or Ctrl+Shift+G.

2) A dropdown that allows typing while visible, or that only appears when the down arrow is pressed.  Many time i will click on the search box and the dropdown will appear unrequested.  Then, the box has to be reclicked or Esc has to be pushed to continue typing.

These are both small things, but would improve usabililty.
