Alan,

Pete solved a problem with a file not updating.  He hasn't written back 
about the lock file issue yet.  The discussion is here 
http://mozdev.org/pipermail/project_owners/2004-January/thread.html if 
you would like to read.  I haven't heard anything new outside of that 
discussion and the discussion here.
