Mozdev always seems slow to me, so I haven't felt much of a difference.

Yes, on the administrative page, some time ago, I added the ability to 
sort the main table by name, last updated and last checked.  It is under 
the "view tables" link.  If you use the view tables tool, It will list 
all plugins in the database in the sort order chosen.
