Minutes from mozdev admin meeting on Friday, 23 January, 2004

Site Performance Improvements
----------------------------
- Certain page with generated content are now being cached (mysql)
- Site has been noticably snappier because of this and other work done
- Looking for other candidates
- Targeting all generated content

News Feed Update
---------------------------------------
- PHP better choice than JS for caching and authentication reasons
- We will evaluate MagpierRSS (http://magpierss.sourceforge.net/) which 
seems to meet our needs

Generation of Category Pages
---------------
- Feed is first priority and we will follow up on this issue on the 
admin mailing list

Mirrors
-------
- Very positive response from the community to our public call for mirrors
(http://mozillazine.org/talkback.html?article=4200)
- There are already 2 new ones live, with more possibilities
- Need to put a upper limit marker on our current need
- Update list on mirrors.mozdev.org and perhaps break off a new page 
giving credit
(separate from the supporters page)

Incorporation
---------
- Lawyers are in contact with other Open Source groups to see advice on 
how to handle papers
