That's a good idea.  We currently enable bugzilla only on request, so
we can do the same thing with mailing lists.  The only downside with
this is trying to maintain a non-standard bunch of projects if we allow
people to turn on/off bugzilla, mailman and blogs, wikis and forums. 
That's more of a question for Doug though.

Eric, do you want to open a bug for this and we can look into things
and discuss this more there?
