[Project_owners] Getting OS language in FF

Hi!
i've been trying to get the user local language, and not the browsers lang,
in IE you can get it with navigator.userLanguage or 
navigator.systemLanguage,
if FF i get undefined value for it.
anyone have a clue on how to get this done in FF ?
