[Project_owners] response status with loadURI() ?

Hi guys! Is there any way of getting a response status (200, 302, 404, etc)
 of a page load triggered by XUL:browser's loadURI()?

Actually, I want to include some "remote server is not working" code to 
donkeyfire....
