[Slogger] slogger and duplicate files

Has there been any discussion of ways to solve the duplicate file 
problems?  If you are saving entire pages with slogger there is a LOT of 
redundancy (just think of all the header and footer gifs).  Sadly my OS 
doesn't have a file groveler like win2k.

I could manually "grovel" the slogger data directory using some shell 
scripting and fdupes or something.  I was just wondering if anyone else 
has give any thought to this?

Maybe its time I learn about firefox extension programming.
