Jack,
I think maybe there's a problem with Firefox installing the new one on
top of the old one instead of upgrading. See if there's two Sloggers in
the FF Extension Manager. If so, maybe uninstall both and then
reinstall the new one. In general, maybe people should uninstall the
old one before installing the new one. I'll try to look into why that's
the case...
The prefs.js stuff I mentioned shouldn't be a big deal. That file just
stores some of your FF settings, and getting rid of a bunch of unused
stuff might be helpful.
