Hi,

Here are some quick instructions to get Tagzilla 0.059 to work with
TBird 1.5.0.4 by updating MaxVersion prior to installing Tagzilla. You
will need a utility that can expand and create ZIP archives.

1. Download the install file using Shift-Click or right-Click Save As
into a new directory, such as Tagzilla.
2. Change the extension of the file downloaed from .xpi to .zip
3. Expand the archive then either delete the ZIP file or move it to
another directory.
4. In the new directory you should see a file called install.rdf, open
this in your favourite editor and look for all the lines that look like
the following:

         <em:maxVersion>1.1</em:maxVersion>

5. Edit these lines to say 1.6 I'm no expert on Mozilla extensions so I
don't know if setting it to 1.5 would cope with the recent bug fix
releases such as the current 1.5.0.4, but 1.6 works for me on 1.5.0.4.
Save the file with the changed lines.
6. Create a new zip archive from the all contents of the new directory,
including the sub-directories.
7. Change the extension of the new ZIP archive from .zip to .xpi
8. In Thunderbird un-install the previous installed version of Tagzilla
(I don't know if this is really necessary but I wanted to play safe -
all my settings we preserved).
9. Restart Thunderbird and re-install by selecting the edited .xpi file
created in the above steps.
10. Re start Thunderbird, and you should find Tagzilla working again.

I have had no obvious problems so far, hope this helps others.

Mike
