Hi all. Sorry I'm late to the conversation. I still need to catch up
on it, but wanted to chime in on this:

I disabled that code because I introduced a panel to Thunderbird's
built-in Account Settings window for TagZilla settings. I figured
(apparently, mistakenly) that it would be logical and easy to find
there, since that's where other per-account settings are stored. This
approach also makes it easier to show which settings affect only the
current account, rather than the operation of TagZilla as a whole (that
was a source of confusion in the past).

You should be able to see these settings by going to Edit -> Account
Settings... (that's Linux, adjust for your OS as necessary). If you
don't see a "TagZilla" selection for each account in the tree on the
left (along with the standard Server Settings, Copies & Folders, etc.),
then there's a bug in TagZilla. The procedure for an extension to
insert that menu item involves a bit more archaic work than other
changes to Thunderbird, and it's possible the procedure has changed for
TB 2.
